Their breakfast items are tasty but on the greasy side and their baked goods are a bit sweet. The servers are the south location are more helpful compared to the north staff. They have good coffee!

Very nice place. The public areas were very clean and the decor was somewhat accented industrial. The food was also good. They had some nice vegetarian options. The bread that they bake was very nice as well. The coffee was also very nice. The one thing I did not like is timely service. Coffee came so late. I was finished... More

One of my favorite places for a baked snack, quick soup, delectable salad, lovely tuna sandwich and more... Personally my favorites here are the Chocolate Brownies and the Cream Cheese Danish; both of these are to die for :-) and the latter is HUGE. Maria's a hidden jem down Pole Carew street, and is the perfect place for a quiet... More

This is a perfect bakery/cafe that is convenient for a quick take out soup, salad or sandwich. The bakery sells a variety of breads and pastries, but the hops bread is absolutely addictive. I have to always buy at least one extra that will be eaten in the car. There is also a seating area for those who want to... More

*This place is the same as Maria's Bakery which has another review page on here - they should probably be joined* A planned brief stop there turned out to be lunch - we just wanted to see what they had so we could get some pastries for home. However, we saw some other customers having a nice lentil soup and... More

Having heard about Maria's from a family member, I decided to try it on a recent trip back home. We took my MIL for lunch one day, while for us it was a quick walk, if you're driving, be wary of where you park. We started with a bowl of Corn Soup. I expected the usual delicious Trini Corn Soup... More

I was staying at my fathers house on vacation and stumbled upon this gem. Great pastries and meat pies were abundant. I had a meat pie and my friend had a cream cheese Danish which was the biggest I have ever seen. Nice place! I saw a group of ladies meeting over coffee and this would be a great spot... More

If you are into Cafes then this is one of the best Cafes to go to in Trinidad. It is a tiny cafe but it is also a bakery that makes great tasting items. The atmosphere is great and always give you a feeling to come back for more. I highly recommend the daily soup and the coronation chicken sandwich.... More
