Kioskia is probably one of the most authentic Greek taverns. Clean, friendly, rich menu, probably one of the widest selection for Greek starters and amazingly roasted meat. Very friendly people, loved the place, highky recommended if you are visiting Thessaloniki and you have a way to travel to this village mountain.

A friend took me in this place after a long trip, so I was expecting that it will be a nice experience. Though the experience there starting from the friendliness of the stuff that urged in explaining us the menu advising us not to order too much as the portions were big enough and the fast service ... Friendly service, amazing outdoor "small yards", great value for money. Warm atmosphere in the Winter inside, cooler nights in the Summer outside.

If looking for a delicious, traditional Greek meal in a beautiful surrounding, do try Ta Kioskia in the martyr village of Hortiatis, 15 km outside Thessaloniki. You will enjoy the ride there through the beautiful outskirts of Panorama and definitely the nice, quite village of Hortiatis. The taverna has a beautiful garden for warm days with wooden, shady kiosks, and... More

This taverna is well worth the trip to Hortiatis (about 15km outside of Thessaloniki, in the mountains). Typical mountain fare - including delicious wild boar. My favorites are the chicken tigania and bouyardi.

Twice in 10 days this restaurant amazed me. The dishes are very tasty, the outdoor sitting area is relaxing and pleasant and the staff is excellent overall. My new favourite restaurant. Definitely worth the drive from Thessaloniki.

Very nice place for what it offers... Classic meat cuisine with some excellent starters & very good prices... The wine list could use a small "upgrade". Try the wild boar chops... a must!!! Best value for money & defenately worth the 20 min drive.
