Local produce and a menu that changes daily. Chef and his crew made us breakfast to take on our hike one morning and their attention to every detail made for an amazing trip.

From our arrival to our departure at Norde Ekre, the service was outstanding. Our reserved table was waiting with a handwritten note welcoming us. The food was exceptional. Chef Ekre and Chef Johansen created an interesting and well-balanced menu with a lightly smoked salmon first...More
Four course dinner eaten with great joy. Service was excellent and welcoming, wine fine and expensive (as normal in Norway)
Located in the old Barn of a traditional farm that has been converted into an excellent boutique hotel- Marit and øyvind's is well worth a visit. The menu is a set 3 course fare structured around local seasonal produce. We had a lightly smoked salmon...More
Dined here two nights. A three course, prix fixe meal, superb preparation and presentation. Relaxed setting, eclectic cuisine, all very fresh and simply wonderful.
Thanks for your feedback! Glad you liked your visit. Best regards Øyvind & Marit

I came here with relatives who have a Norwegian heritage. We loved the food and the beautifully furnished restaurant. A real Norwegian delight.
Not so easy to find this farm, but it lay up on the side of the valley in the sun. The welcome from Marit Ekre was friendly and she showed us the rooms. There are several logg buildings where they have done a fantastic job...More
We had a deliciuos dinner of tenderloin and French potatoes. And, the peak of the meal was the exquisite selection of Norwegian cheeses, one tasting better than the other.
