Three lovely meals - pork belly, fish and chips and chicken parmigiana. Looking very fresh salads, light batter and tasty twice fried chips. Pork belly was crunchy and presented simply but appealing to the eye. Polite and welcoming staff who added to the experience. We'll be back, thank you for the lovely lunch.

My brother and I enjoyed our meal at this gem of a restaurant. The service was a little slow, but the food made up for that. We enjoyed ourselves and would return in the future.

Meals overpriced and small for a pub meal. Not much choice of tap beer. Glasses dirty and beer flat. Could do with cleaning their beer lines. Sirloin average and overpriced and the garlic sauce tasted almost chemical. The atmosphere is very dated and unwelcoming. Service average. I would expect this of a cheap country pub but not with the prices... More

As usual the meal was very good however disappointed the dining room is only open after 6pm and for Sunday lunch. Sitting in the bar area was a bit off

Attended the main dining room with friends on a Thursday night. The place had a number of parties there and we were greeted on entering and quickly shown to our seats. The menu was extensive and we ordered six entrée's to start - and a good way to sample a range of foods. The pork belly strips were very good... More

Two of us had the Sunday roast for $15 each. Roast carrots, parsnips and potatoes were delicious. The roast beef was disappointing - the serving size was large, but the beef was cut wafer thin and swimming in gravy, the beef practically dissolved in the gravy. The Yorkshire puddings were overcooked and hard. Nice beer garden at the front, could... More

Visited for Sunday lunch but the place lacked atmosphere and there weren't may diners. The food was unremarkable and although you can use an Entertainment Book voucher here, I doubt we'll return. May be there's a better vibe there at night though.

Took my elderly parents and relatives for a Thursday lunch. Apart from the dining room being quite cold and not having much atmosphere the food was surprisingly good and good value for money ($12 lunch specials) . The hotel needs some tlc in the dining room we used but the 1 staff member was friendly and pleasant. Certainly will go... More
