Ciao Italia is hands down my favorite restaurant in Perth. The restaurant is cramped and very basic but the food is amazing. Definitely worth the wait and the line moves quite fast. I've never had anything from here that wasn't delicious. The tiramisu is a must.

We went rather early to be able to sit, the food was excellent, but the environment was loud and the temperature was hot. Nevertheless, the children enjoyed the night out and the attention of the Italian waiters who were helpful and patient.

I have been coming to ciao Italia for many years and have always loved the food and atmosphere and service. However the last time I was there, the couple next to us was asked to leave because they had finished their meal and there were people waiting outside to come in. I understand it's a very small place and there... More

Had to try this restaurant, where in Perth do you find an Italian eatery frequented by mainly Chinese. Which always evokes intrigue for me, how and why? Food was very pedestrian, a suburban take on Italian food. No real surprises, or innovation from kitchen. This is more like a proto-type Italian eatery, on which a chain will be based on.

Busy corner cafe in South Perth, offering genuine Italian nosh at realistic prices. Huge serves, big enough to share. BYO, but as you cannot make a booking it's possible you will drink your wine on the footpath while you are waiting for a table! This is a very popular local cafe and there were crowds on the footpath trying to... More

Firstly let me say that this place is really popular. It opens at 5pm and we got there at 430pm to a queue of about 4 tables. As we sat down to dinner at just after 5pm, the restaurant quickly filled up and a queue started forming outside. The food. We started off with the Cozze Pescatora, the mussels in... More

The Team at Ciao Italia do an amazing job night in, night out. Homely Italian food, fantastic Pizzas and you cannot ask for more. You will have to wait in line due to it being busy if you don't go early, but a few minutes (up to 30 on busy nights) is well worth it. It's a place you will... More
