One of the owners welcomed us and told us an interesting story of how the church came to be on the site. We ate lunch on the deck, great service, great food, great atmosphere. Another of the owners delivered our lunch to us explained everything...on the board and where each item came from. A lovely visit.More

Quick lunch after wine tasting. Quite a few choices of meals, service was quick on their patio, and the sandwiches were very good. A glass of wine was the ideal accompaniment. Recommended.

Awesome vineyard, great people, awesome garlic fest so worth the trip. Wine testing and taste was great, a bit of a trip, but worth seeing the great old church. Recommend a must.

Just a lovely lunch, seafood chowder, haddock sandwich and a glass of Bliss. This chef is knocking it out of the park. Do not miss out on what he is doing at the lovely winery. A bit of a drive off the beaten path but...so worth it!More

We had lunch at D'vine Morsels the other day. We have been wanting to try it for sometime and when we called, Sarah assured us we didn't need a reservation. The dining area is lovely, both inside and out. We opted to sit outside as...we were the only guests and the weather was wonderful. Sarah was very attentive and helpful with our menu choices. After we ordered, she came back with chilled glasses and a chilled bottle of water for us. We both ordered the haddock sandwich as the restaurant was out of lobster. This sandwich comes with a choice of salad, we had the sweet potato salad as a side. There is a wine sampler available and because we were driving, we shared a sampler of Petite Milo, Cheverie, Miller’s Creek. The Petite Milo was our favourite and we purchased a bottle to take home. Unfortunately, the haddock in my sandwich tasted old and had a very strong fish smell. My husband's sandwich was great, so we think that an old piece of fish must have gotten mixed in a batch of fresh fish. Other than that, the meal was very good and the service was excellent. I didn't say anything to our waitress about the fish because we were treated so well and it wasn't a big deal. I did mention it after we paid the bill as we felt that the restaurant may want to check their fish before serving it to someone else. We would come back to D'vine Morsels and to Avondale Winery.More

We timed our trip to the Avondale Sky Winery so that we could have lunch here, and we were not disappointed. The deck tables provide beautiful views of the vineyards and of the area. Ihe service was excellent and the food was delicious. The beet...salad was delicious, full of roasted beats and lightly dressed with a vinaigrette, and the Charcuterie tray was excellent with a wonderful garlic scape pesto and a fruit chutney that complimented the meats and local cheeses. The wine recommendations paired nicely and we had a very enjoyable meal.More

The chef at D'Vine's knows how to cook, we had a bowl of seafood chowder that was just perfect. My sister and I also split a smoked salmon salad and a pastrami bagel. Both where just lovely, perfect flavor, presentation and the staff Sarah and...Emma. Gave us lots of advice on the menu and also wines that would go well with our choices. We left it up to them and our lunch was just perfect. We will be backMore

D’Vine Morsels is a patio restaurant attached to the tasting room at the Avondale Sky Winery. The menu is made up of salads, charcuterie and cheese plates, small sandwiches (“sliders”), and scrumptious desserts, as well as wines produced by the winery. We chose the charcuterie...plate of local sausage and prosciutto, two different types of sliders and lemon curd mousse for dessert. Everything was great, and the mousse was outstanding. The chef, who came out from the kitchen to see how we liked our lunch, previously worked at high-end restaurants in Halifax and Wolfville and is clearly enjoying the practice of her craft at the winery. If you are wanting truck driver-sized portions you won't find them here, but if you want quality food, with a variety of flavours and tastes, you will be pleased. The winery and restaurant is off the beaten path, but signage from the 100 series highway is adequate to lead you to it. It is open Thu, Fri, Sat, and Sun from 11:30 to 4:00 pm.More
