Family meal at the Bear. Food is always delicious and plenty of it. Home cooked and super tasty. Service is warm and you always feel welcome. Hayley is the best waitress ever - always friendly, always happy. Love everything about the Bear. Thank You x

Good friendly pub in small village, ideally travel by car if not local as at top of steep hill. Went for Sunday lunch. You need to be careful as you could struggle to eat the very large servings of food, £10 for main and pudding....More

No it's down the hill about 500m in a free car park. It's quite steep and not much of a pavement on your way up so might be worth dropping off those less mobile at the pub door.

We are a Pub /Restaurant serving home cooked reasonably priced meals Thurs Fri and Sat pm 6pm -9pm and Sat and Sun lunch 12 -3pm. The pub is open 7 nights a week for drinks and all day weekends.The pub is available for private hire for all functions mon -Fri during the day We have a large beer garden which is suitable for families and is dog friendly. The pub dates back to 1780 and still retains a lot of its original character with an open fire in the bar area It is a warm friendly pub welcoming to everyone.
