Stop here on the way back from the coast. Great tasting plate and bowls of chips for a simple meal all washed down with superb ales and ciders. Beautiful part of the world. Highly recommended.

Stopped here for late lunch between Port Fairy & Lorne. A great find indeed. Nice cosy brewery cum cafe. Pretty big with various types of seating. Sofas, communal table, bar top & regular tables & chairs. They even have a nice al fresco area which will be great for summer. Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Prices are bit on the high... More

Have eaten here before and had excellent food so we decided to take friends there. Completely different experience. Firstly front of house staff are good, friendly and helpful. The food just wasn't as fresh or good and to top it off a hair in our friends meal. We decided to tell the staff and they handled it well however once... More

After a long hard mountain bike ride, a refreshing ale at this brewery is just what you need. Good selection of food and drinks on the menu. You can sit inside with a fire place or out side with lovely views of the green hills.

What a really nice, little place with the friendliest of staff. Even better they had an array of some of the tastiest craft beers. Strongly suggest taking a wee detour from the Great Ocean Road to come and sample their wares. We didn't eat here but the cakes in the cabinet looked pretty good - definitely would have tasted a... We are pleased to have stopped here. The food and friendly service were excellent. The beer selection was perfect for my palate, however, I do not like extremely bitter beer.

Very simple, unpretentious environment without table service. We had lunch, which was mussels to start. They were totally delicious because they were so fresh and the tomato concasse was exactly perfect. Followed by a generous serve of Moreton bay bugs with pasta, snowpeas and red capsicum. Again.. scrumptious, fresh and well sized. My 9 year old son had fish and... More

We dropped into The Forrest Brewing Company, on long weekend trip down the Great Ocean Rd. Thank you that we did. To start, friendly staff greeted us, with a no hassle, no drama friendly attitude. Easy, relaxed place where you order from the counter, and the staff bring you the items. Dropped over to the beer tasting area, for an... More

Forrest Brewing Co. Is a small sibling owned microbrewery combined with a relaxed dining hall. Equal parts microbrewery, eating place and mountain biking hang-out. This 4 year old business has established a reputation for good food & great beer in the tiny Otways village - Forrest.

Our brew house door and restaurant are housed within the former Forrest general store. The space is designed with a warm rustic feel and touches of reclaimed timber. Outside the sawn log tables look out across the valley and catch the sunshine and sunsets. Our kitchen serves fresh, informal, locally sourced food, paired with craft beer, local wines and freshly roasted coffee.
