a pleasant experience indeed. We went with a big but "private" group for a end of the conference meeting. We had a variety of dishes and everybody was quite happy of their cliches, apart from one of us who found his prawns overcooked, but I did not agree: mine were tasty and perfectly done.. The people serving were easy going... More

My friend and I planned this as one of dinner stops on a long weekend in Malta and absolutely we're NOT disappointed! The atmosphere was cute but very classy. We sat by the window so we had an excellent view of the bay. The food was spectacular. For starters I had the beef tart tatin and she had the carrot... More

Admittedly the night we visited there was a power failure and so no heat. That inevitably makes things different. They were cooking on gas but both of our meals and vegetables were on the cold side. Also the "gravy" sauce on both meals was overpowering and suspiciously similar even though I had beef and my dinner guest had veal The... More

I was enchanted..and went back already a second time The fact that the room is elevated helps the tightness of the place (It gets loud). Tables by the window are on a first come first served basis. Seared tuna was the best tuna of my life (23 EUR). Pasta sea urchins (15 EUR) was tasty but not the best. Online... More

Fantastic fresh food, nicely presented . Normally I write reviews just if the place is extremely good or extremely bad! I had the best lamb ever . This restaurant is a must to try in Malta!

My partner and I went on a Thursday night and didn't reserve a table as we came right at 7 pm. Soon after the restaurant was filled, so we were lucky. Wigi's has an excellent choice of wines both local and abroad so you're in luck in you want wine. We were impressed with the selection of meats and fish... More

We dined twice during Dec-Jan. The food was excellent across the board and to a standard that would not disgrace the best in London or Paris. Wigi is the nickname of Luigi (father) who runs the place with Beppe (son). For starters the grilled calamari was outstanding and we had it twice. Rack of lamb, swordfish, surloin, all first class.... More

Interior slightly off putting because of low ceiling but if you book way in advance and get a window table the view cancels that out. Not really a fish place but if meat is your thing, try nowhere else. Service is good and friendly in a bustling atmosphere. It really is always full so you do need to book as... More
