If you are looking for food - tough! It is no longer served. Opens for drinks only at 4.00pm on Mondays to Fridays. Punch Taverns need to plough some investment into this place NOW! It is run down, dowdy and depressing. From being one of the best pubs in Dunblane in 2009, it is now easily the worst.

Stayed at dunblane on Sunday. 25th very busy therefore. Long wait for meals. To arrive. And also. A few things not available. As busy not good. Enough. Hotel overstretched themselves. Staff very stressed. And constantly. Apologising will be back but not a holiday. Weekend.

I have been here a few times since my friends moved to Dunblane. Always received warm welcome from the bar staff. It has real feel of a wee local bar. It also has 35ml spirits that are reasonably priced. The prices in general are actually very reasonable.

Visit on a regular basis, more out of habit than desire. The beer quality can be poor sometimes unfortunately. The whole place needs a serious makeover, the seats are stained and poor condition. One or other of the ladies toilets is always out of order. If someone with vision could take over running it, it's a great opportunity in a... More

This hotel has seen better days it is a bit run down and could do with some tender care. The staff are really friendly and we visited for one drink and then moved on .

Just popped in for a beer, nice friendly pub in Dunblane. Bar staff enjoying mixing with locals and tourists alike. Would benefit from a refurb as it does look quite tired and dated.

We were given this room booking and a certificate for the restaurant for a gift. We were disappointed, not by the room, but by the service and food in the restaurant attached to the hotel. We were ignored for about twenty minutes, then ordered our wine, took forty minutes to come to us, food was cool, service indifferent. Hope you... More

Having eaten there thrice before without major problems, I took a group of seven there on Saturday. Beer-battered fish and chips was served, but the fish was raw; the plates were cold, and the wait for service was long. There were hardly any other customers. My own chicken, ham and leek pie was cooked, but disappointingly short of chicken and... More

A party of seven looking for lunch. After an hour the first meals started to arrive. Despite the long wait, the plates were cold. The food was cold. The battered fish was still raw. We appreciated the sympathetic service, but this was not a place to visit for lunch again, with so many other food outlets that know how to... More
