We used this pub as a quick stop to "transfer" our grandaughter from one car to another for her sleepover at ours. We stayed much longer than planned as the staff were so friendly and helpful and the biggest surprise was Father Christmas was sat having a mince pie! There was a fantastic photo opportunity with a memento frame.... all... More

Visited as a group of 4 early on a Friday night. Slight delay in finding a table as our grandson in pushchair was with us and they wanted to be sure we had ample room for him. Seated at table for 8 in the window on the top level of the restaurant. Drinks orders taken quickly, and delivered quickly though... More

The service on this occasion was quite good, but since the refurbishment and new menu, the food had fallen short, after previously having been fairly regular visitors. 4 of us dined, ribs and steak, 3 of us had a jacket potato, l couldn't possibly guess how long it had been cooked, or even possibly reheated. The appearance was not attractive... More

mass produced food. Greasy, poor tasting. Huge menu which might be why half the stuff looks and tastes the same. Salad bar was excellent as usual except the bread rolls were like bullets this evening which is rare. Had to ask twice for cutlery and gave up in the end and robbed some from next door table. Service was a... More

Had my breakfast here today and it was absolutely fabulous. Friendly efficient service, my breakfast was piping hot and cooked to perfection. I would certainly recommend The Harvester as a place to have breakfast and I'll be back there again soon.
