Stayed with my girlfriend, my parents, and niece (2 rooms). Great chalet feel, wood throughout. We arrived at 9 PM (1 hour ahead of BC), the kitchen was closed/ing, but they let us settle in and served us supper. Great food, homemade bread and butter, and great hospitality. The location is BF nowhere, but in winter, it wouldn't be too... More

We booked a room here last night on booking.com for $219 for one night this weekend, but we got a call this morning advising that the room was double booked. We were offered another room at a discounted price of $239, which we accepted. A couple of hours later we received another call saying that the second room was also... More

We stayed at the lodge for 3 nights a week ago. The accommodations were very comfortable and very clean, these are the 2 things that are most important to me. The lodge has that rustic european feel to it. There are other individual cabins that I did not stay in, but other guests commented that they were very happy with... More

My husband and I were looking for a hotel close to Banff National Park and Alexa Chalet Hotel came up on Booking.com! We booked this hotel thinking it would be close by to Banff and we were quite surprised that it was over 175 km away!! This hotel is in BC not Alberta! This is something that Booking.com needs to... Searched for a chalet in Banff using booking.com, unfortunately, stupid enough to trust it as it's never failed me before. Turns out Alexa chalets are 200k further than Banff and in a different state. Despite that, the chalets are nice and cosy. Breakfast was fine. The local area left a lot to be desired.

Stayed here for 2 nights. It is remotely situated out from Golden, The owners were very pleasant in welcoming us and speaking with us each morning. The breakfast was continental only but there was a good selection and it was plentiful. Regrettably they don't include a daily room service which is a negative bearing in mind the price. WIFI was... We made reservations for ourselves and my parents in the Inn, stating that one room had to be ground floor, no stairs, as my Dad is handicapped. We were told that they had a room available in the main building to suit our needs as the cabins all had steps. When we arrived, we were told that someone had decided... More

We stayed here for one night on 30th June as a stopover. As a Couple travelling with mother we had the top floor suite in the main building for the three of us which was ideal, other than too many stairs for mum. Lovely bedrooms, clean and comfy. There are no other restaurants nearby (the hotel is actually in Parson,... More

Timber Inn Restaurant is one of my favourite places. Marianne does an incredible job cooking up a feast for you. It is a short drive from Golden..about 20 minutes but it is worth it. On a warm evening, sit on the deck and enjoy the fabulous view of the Columbia River. The food is always fabulous with a variety of... More

We stayed in one of the honeymoon chalets. Had a jacuzzi and a woodburner. Firewood is complementary. Very cosy. Owners are very friendly. Enjoyed the chats with Rainer. You have the option to have a fixed diner and a hot breakfast for 39 dollars. All home grown and organic. We actually got to this place on recommendation by the Golden... More
