There were 5 of us. We were seated quickly even though the restaurant was quite busy. Our experience went well after that. Our server, Lisa E. was exceptional. Our food was hot and fresh. We had two starters and then our entrees. I was so impressed with the food. Everything was hot and very tasty. All in all there was... More

We arrived just before 8 pm (their winter closing time) and were welcomed in. We ordered hot sandwiches, both were very good. My husband is a coleslaw aficionado and declared it excellent. The French fries were hot, tasty and bountiful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling the Trans Canada highway between Woodstock and Fredericton - right off the... More

I have been to this restaurant a few times and I'm never disappointed. It's delicious and friendly. It's always busy. There is also plenty of room for parking so if you're hauling a camper or U-Haul there is lots of room. It's across the highway from King's Landing Historical Settlement so check it out while you're in that neck of... More

Typical truck stop food....neither great or poor. Fish and chips were mushy. Typical prebreaded and frozen.

Now this is a classic down home restaurant serving fresh Atlantic food in an awesomely NB way. The food is dimple but good and the service is very friendly. A busy place where locals eat.

If this is on hwy 2 just west of Fredericton NB it was a gem. Clean, excellent food, great prices, great service. Glad we stopped for breakfast at this privately owned restaurant. Store attached (with spirits) gas pumps, fresh market in parking lot. What more could you want? Highly recommend.

My family and I, we're really hungry when we saw Acorn Restaurant. We came sat down and they had a variety of options to choose from. My son loved their cheeseburger and I myself loved the Montreal smoke meat. If we ever travel to New Brunswick again we will make sure to come back to Acorn Restaurant!

We were getting hungry on our route home and no recognizable chain restaurants were showing on the GPS. Up pops Acorn and I quickly check Tripadvisor and decide to stop. What a pleasant surprise and alternative to boring fast-food. Lots of variety, good flavour and prices. Convenient location. Coleslaw tasty. Sweet potato fries good and crispy. Turkey sandwiches loaded with... More

A friend of mine recommended this restaurant if you are in a hurry and he was quite right. We were four adults and each ordered a different meal. The server was very efficient, witty and quick. The food was very tasty and the prices were very reasonable. We were able to renew our trip within a half hour. This does not... More

I have found that truck stops are great family stops too, and the Acorn was no exception. Diner favorites in large portions and cheap prices. Waitresses are full of tips of where to go, where to avoid etc. It was the only place around to stop, but no regrets - lunch was decent.
