Located directly on the shore, any closer and you're in the sea, just on the road north out of Torre Canne. It's basically just a shed, with no frills or pretensions. But what you do get is a warm friendly welcome and just about the freshest fish prepared in the local Puglia way. In fact the fish is so fresh that... More

This is definitely worth a visit. Essentially an expanded fishermans' hut set on the beach. No frills decor, but wonderful fresh seafood, served by great staff. Just go!

We went for dîner to this restaurant because we read si many positive comments. When we arrived we actually thought that we got the wrong place. It looked more like a "take away". The plates and covers were in plastic and we were quite surprised. We ate 2 spaghetti a le vongole and 1 grilled tuna with a salad. We... More

Excellent place to enjoy fresh Italien seafood located right on the sea. If you don't mind to eat and drink in plastic plates/cups and the Italien noisy family ambiance does not disturb ...this is the place to go. Il Principe de Mare is runned by the family members, a young and friendly team that will not disapoint you. The prices... More

The place is not fancy or special, however the food are good and honestly priced. You get a good choice of seafood but no much side dishes. Overall, if you are on a budget and you would like to have seafood, this is a good place.

If not, don't bother! Plastic knives and forks, I really think this is it your most Eco friendly restaurant. For kids who do not like 'fruit of the sea' the only thing is spaghetti with tomato sauce, and not really inspiring......

It's a very very simple place: short menu and just a house wine. But the wine was just fine and food was freshest ever! Especially crudo, especially shrimps. Get a lot of shrimp!

If you are squeamish about the look of a restaurant before you set foot in the door this place is not for you...but if you love fresh fish, simply cooked and delicious fried prawns then this place is a true find. We were recommended this place by the owner of Masseria Salinola in Ostuni, which in itself was a lovely... More

Have been there multiple times and always go back when in the area. This is the simplest restaurant you can think of, small plastic table right on the sea rocks.. you can eat sea food watching the water, with your kids playing on the rocks, or on the small beach right next to it. Good for lunch and dinner, you... More
