A great find for a bunch of lads after a track day. Loads of meat and chips. Cooked perfectly. Large portions and good service. Recommend if you want real uncomplicated food. Rice black pudding and the hanging kibabs are excellent.

We found Meson del Asador by mistake on a quiet and chilly Sunday, looking for somewhere with some atmosphere, and inside seating - it was packed. We ordered Ox-tsil, I have only had it once before (in Seville) and it was good. The waiter told us that it was huge (big enough for 2) and it was. And it was... More

Grilled steaks at your table and family style servings make this a great place for small group celebrations or just good food and a fun night out with friends. Tables inside and out, great service, very accommodating and cheerful staff! Casual, reasonable, unhurried atmosphere. A favorite in Jerez.

We found this restaurant on a Friday night and had dinner there with wine, the waiter spoke no English but a couple on the table next to us helped out and the food was excellent, as was the house red wine, the atmosphere was buzzing and the waiters worked very hard to keep everyone served and looked after, a great... Excellent place and service. lf you are visiting Jerez, having tapas here is a must. Cola de toro, gazpacho, Morcilla de burgos and Solomillo among my favourites.

The Memsahib and I stumbled across this wonderful restaurant by chance. It was not featured in our, sadly, out of date guide but perhaps it is, and rightly so in newer editions. The food here is excellent, just judge by the queues when you arrive. The morcilla, both types is excellent. The Pigs hands are gelatinous and rich. The Bulls... More

If you find yourself staying at The Guadalete or The Sherry Park and don't fancy the walk into town then head for this tapas bar/restaurant. Don't be put off by it's location on the edge of a small shopping centre, that at night is shuttered closed. Push on - you will be rewarded. Interior is brightly it but sit at... More

We used to love us Asador and visited every time we were in Jerez. We won't be going back after this latest visit though as it was very disappointing indeed. We ordered three Tapas of which only one we ate. To be fair this is one we always have and was very good again – the pork cheek. The other... More
