A late dinner in Merida at la bodeguilla was wonderful! Limited language didn't diminish the great meal! I wish we were here for more than one night... we would be back for sure!

Depsite positive reviews, this is the first spainish restaurant after 15 spainish days lunches, dinners that did not provide little tapas with our drink orders, Tapas costs e2 for croquettes to 9e for steaks, food was nice, after 6 tapas 4 wines 2 beers costs was e33, on the high side. Wine by the glass very small measure, No english... More

We chose to have lunch at this restaurant having read good reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed! The food was good but the highlight was the welcome we received from Emilio. He helped us choose our dishes and then personally prepared my husband's migas dish for him with great aplomb! We had to take a photo of him spoon-feeding... More

This restaurant is definitely not to be missed. We stayed with friend at the local Parador but decided to seek out a local restaurant. Trip Adviser gave us some ideas and we chose this one. We were not disappointed! The owner / chef Emillio is from a past age. As a retired restaurant manager it is many years since I... More

Staying with friends in the nearby Parador for a couple of days we decided to eat here on the first night after looking at recent reviews on this site. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is modern in decor, very crisp, fresh and inviting. We were a bit early for dinner so sat downstairs with a media racion of excellent... More

We visited this restaurant on the basis of Tripadvisor reviews. The restaurant appeared to have moved quite recently to another place in the same street. The new place was very spacious and nice. The food was excellent in all respects. The quality of food was excellent and quantities were great. Service was a bit lax at moments. Overall certainly to... More

As sugested by the employee, I chose the turbot “rodaballo” which was fine, not excelent because it was a bit underdone with some bloody traces. The accompanying tomato slices were very poor and lonely side dish… but the disaster was the dessert. That supposed tiramisu ought to be banned from the menu… nothing like the real thing. Distateful.

We had a nice meal here. The menu is extensive and the size of the meals is equally big. Even the tinto de verano came in a huge glass. After the kids polished off their lamb chops they somehow managed to eat the lovely big slice of cake (complimentary!) and we all enjoyed our digestivos (alcoholic and non) from our... More
