Reviewed yesterday NEW

This was our second visit to Lindos and this is our favorite restaurant. It isn't the cheapest but well worth a visit. the food is fab and on arrival you get a small taste of prosecco/sparkling wine. The staff are very attentive and George will be look after you and explain everything on the menu. Love it here.

From the first moment we met George we could tell how passionate he was about his restaurant with the open court yard & the food he prepares.. wonderful experience & so worth every penny spent .. we had a brilliant night celebrating my daughter Chloe's birthday .. we loved how each dish was described to you & how the fish... We visited Ambrosia twice during our stay in a Lindos. The owner, George is the perfect Patron and is ably assisted by his son and other staff. George enjoys helping you to select dishes from the varied menu which includes some traditional and some innovative dishes. We particularly enjoyed the white fish with prawn stuffing, the squid in a basil... More

Recommended by friends and after a disappointing meal in the hotel the first night, we enjoyed eating here on several occasions.

We decided to try this place on our last evening in Lindos, and to be honest I think the hype from all of the positive reviews left us feeling rather disappointed. This place wasn't bad by any means, but was probably my 4th favourite meal during my stay. The Greek 'champagne' we were offered to start was really lovely and... More

We ate once at Ambrosia and found it the best by far. Excellent service and a great welcome form the owner George. The food was well cooked and served well. We were greeted with a small complimentary glass of sparkling wine and a liqueur to finish. The fish and chicken dishes we had were excellent. Had we stayed longer we... More

This was a special occasion for a group of five people. We turned up without a reservation but were accommodated, although I do not think that this would have been possible in high season. The menu had a French twist and all dishes are freshly prepared. The menu was explained with the reasoning behind the combinations of flavours. There was... More
