Nonna Nina is one of the very best restaurants in the Camogli-Rapallo-Santa Margherita area. Located on the road that leads to San Rocco from Ruta, the restaurant is at the first floor of an old home. The cuisine is based on traditional Ligurian recipes, executed with great savoir fair by a really great chef. The pasta courses are excellent, the... More

Charming place with well cooked traditional Ligurian food. Nonna Nina has everything you want from an Italian restaurant: personal service, great food cooked with love from local products, and that true Italian atmosphere. Highly recommended. Also don’t miss the cute little bar/café in a small cave around the corner from the church (5 minutes walk from Nonna Nina), with an... More

A long, steep but clearly signposted and well lit walk from Camogli - 20 min of serious uphill if you are hungry and can do without a break- Nonna Nina welcomes you in her tidy, little restaurant, where the food and service won't disappoint. The cuisine is authentic and refined, the seafood is fresh and the taste balanced. The result... More

This place is located in a place called San Rocco. Here we feasted on some delicious Liguian Dishes such as the Cuttlefish. They do really good pastas also and have the most amazing pesto.

It really is like being in someone's sitting room for supper. Albeit the best home cooked one! Great food but not the friendliest staff we came across.

We had dinner here one night in the small 3 table glassed verandah at the entrance. Food was very nice, although my wife's antipasto was a bit heavy on the deep fried items. My pasta with fish was delicious as was the follow on moscardino (baby octopus) stew with potatoes, but I'm not quite sure why it was one of... More

This restaurant is perched right up in the hills above Camogli with lovely views down to the sea. Good food with a homemade authentic feel - pasta especially good. Service pleasant and efficient. Decent value.

We went to San Rocca di Camogli a fantastic trip by car from Recco, this small town has only this restaurant when We were there, made a reservation for lunch, it was a tiny pavillon with 4 small tables and behind a bigger terrasse looked like a big tenth. The staff Nonna but not Nina her own grandmother, was very... More

We come here every Summer and it is good to see how the menu evolves. New this time around, on their specials, freshly made excellent fried anchovies. Most dishes are made to order; it takes a little extra time, but it is worth the wait. Service is OK (some other reviews acknowledge this), but the quality of the food, the... More

We ate at this restaurant twice; once in a large group of 10 people and the second time as a couple. We found the food to be a mixed bag. Some things are delicious; we had a number of sharing plates when we ate as a group so we tried a lot of dishes. But the local specialty of fresh... More
