Have eaten at the Fanel many times over many years and always had great food and fair service. Great place for families.

Went to fanal for Chinese food and it was very good. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants around who serve only Chinese food and are by far not so good.Quality, portion and price the most expensive set menu for 2 is 14.75 for both. You will not find any place value for money as here.

Although an unassuming restaurant we had a warm welcome and were given a choice of seats. An extensive menu and wine choice. Our friends shared a set menu and we had stir fried prawns and cashews with steamed rice and stir fried vegetables. All came quickly and were hot as were plates which had been on the burner in front... More

Pizzeria cum chinese cum a la carte; TV screens with football; lots of waiters; friendly service. No glitzy decor, but massive space standards.

I am not that fussy when it comes to food but I was so disappointed when I went there with my family which includes an almost 2 years toddler who eats anything. I ordered something from the kid's menu for him and was so disgusted by the way they DEEP FRIED the fish fingers and chicken nuggets! They were dripping... More

I have been to this place dozens of times, but always for pizza, which is one of the best i have ever tasted in Malta. It is thin and crispy, and not the type of pizza with the false idea that the most you put in it makes it better. If it's Capricciosa, it is Capricciosa, and nothing more. Each... More

We have passed this place 100 times or more but never stopped to eat. After a late flight we decided just to get a quick take-away. We had a pizza margharita and pizza delight. They are huge full size and one would have been more than enough for the two of us but as we so rarely have pizza's we... More

Have been several time - my view is that the food is canteen level. If it was cheaper that would be acceptable, but it is priced the same as restaurants that provide more taste to the food. On the plus side, they are good for take away, especially pizza and Chinese food.

I go there with my friends several times during the year and this is in view of the fact that the food and the service are really good. I normally take the chicken breast with mushroom sauce, however I have also tried the mixed grill and even other dishes and the taste was simply superb.
