This has become our favorite restaurant if we are in this part of Holland. They have an interesting menu and so far we have never been disappointed with the food ordered. Staff is always very friendly and efficient. This month' special (venison) is excellent. Good...piece of well prepared meat and really nice side dishes. The meatball remains a favorite (but you need to order additional side dishes as it is not a complete meal).More

Thank you for this nice review!
We really appreciate the nice comment on the staff as well since we really invest in good education.
We hope to see you again when you are near!
This place is a very nice surprise in a place like Epe. The entourage is genuinely nice, a modern grand cafe indeed. We just moved here and already went multiple times for tea, drinks or dinner. It’s always filled with people and we always walk...away happy. They have a great assortment of (vegan!) cakes to go with your tea/coffee, nice warm (Dutch) snacks to go with your drinks, and dinner is straightforward & simple but very tasty. Prices are super reasonable. Its a suitable place to bring your kids, and our dog was allowed in too when we went for tea once. We love the (carpaccio!) pizza’s - they also do take away btw - but anyone can find something they like on the menu really. Oh and have a look at the gin tonic menu. For 3 courses plus drinks we spent around 30 euro a person, which is a very good deal for the service and food quality that you get. I recommend to make a reservation..!More

Thanks for the appraisal words!
We really appreciate your review.
Hope to see you again soon!
Even though not an Italian restaurant, the pizza is better than us being served in the average Italian restaurant. A decent crust with good and honest ingredients. Also the meatball was very tasty. Combined with friendly staff and a nice decor, this is a restaurant...to return to. Prices are very reasonable.More
I recently had my birthday dinner in Cornelis. As usual the setting food and staff were all amazing. They provided vegan options and it was delish. Have been every time I visit family and will definitely return.
Cornelis was recommended to us and we absolutely loved it there. The food was excellent, the staff were polite and considerate. We sat out on the terrace as it was a sunny evening, then later as it got cooler we sat in the conservatory part...of the restaurant which was heel erg gezellig!More
My partner had lunch here & I returned for dinner with my son.
We sat outside both times as I just love the atmosphere of the hussle & bussle of Epe.
At night we sat under the heater which was do-able.
Service was great &...friendly... Food amazingly good.More
