Not many restaurants here but just happened we picked a good one. Restaurant is small but the decoration is tasteful. Plates were hot when they came over. Try the xmas dish... it s a bit like Japanese raw fish.

Caught an early dinner here and was impressed from the start. Polite and quick service. Attentive and a nice selection in a quaint setting. I went with local scallops and a steak fillet main. Both were superb, cooked to perfection. More a fine dining price range but with food and service that good....

The description of a cozy family restaurant did not prepare me for the fine dining menu we found. Our food was delicious and the service was nicely paced as we enjoyed a meal and reflected on an excellent two weeks in Norway. I highly recommend it!

We had the equivalent of one meal (appetizer, entree, glass of wine) and found it to be average for the price. Instead of highlighting the fresh ingredients, there was a lot of cream and butter added. We had the scallop appetizer and the stock fish and both had a lot of cream or butter. This was recommended by a local... More

We walked into a lovely restaurant with tables covered in white tablecloths and a lovely container of flowers on every table. For our first course we had potato leek soup with a crab cake. Delicious! Our main course was halibut with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Delicious! The service was outstanding. We recommend this restaurant and reservations are a must.

We went to Svolvær for a two day stay, this was our first dinner out an what a good meal we had. We tried the lamb, perfectly cooked, well balanced in terms of flavor and seasoning, we also tried the wale steak and this one came with roasted potatoes and served with a white wine sauce on the side. The... More

Outside looks like a simple small/medium house, inside - very warm place, with local design, quite small but very friendly. The cream soup was great! Halibut excellent! Local fish - well ... maybe it was not my favorite but at least I have tried the local speciality. Very nice service. I would recommend reservation. Quite high prices. Going inside -... More
