WOW !

Well, what can I say! Except I’ve just eaten the best lamb I’ve ever had (and I come from the land of the sheep....Wales ! ) This place serves seriously delicious food of a very high quality. The lamb was beautiful as was hubbies fillet...steak. Excellent service, reasonably priced, very clean and social distanced tables. What more can you ask for ? Went to this restaurant as it was near our hotel and because of the excellent tripadvisor reviews and we are so glad we went. It is really really good and we would highly recommend.More

The food at Rafael restaurant is simply the best, better than all the rest at the marina. Luis is a fantastic chef and has a great team . Always welcoming & knowledgeable. Lunch stop

Very creative food, great wine list. Claire and her kitchen team always on hand to explain the dishes and offer recommendations. We will definitely be back.

Evening Meal

Had A Lovley evening meal here , A lovly prawn dich in chilli sauce , and A steak my husband order just melted in his mouth . Staff so very Friendly

Final meal of Holiday

We went to San Rafael for our last dinner which turned out to be super we tried the Octopus & were not disappointed, a superb meal worth waiting until our last night. We will return on our next visit to the area.

It’s a case of selecting from the menu. Not sure they cater for vegan.

I can't imagine that it would be closed. Rafael's restaurant fronts onto and is part of the Dom Pedro Portobelo Aparthotel and that is certainly open over the entire Christmas period. An email to the Dom Pedro would confirm... More
