Good food and pretty popular with locals which is always a good sign. The inside is cosy and atmospheric, the service friendly and attentive and the food all good and good value given its central location. Worth the 10 yard detour up a side street off the main street!

Very enjoyable shrimp omellet, fish and simple tomato slices in herbs. The location is near the tourist information in the old city and very relexing. Recommended.

Lovely place with a great atmosphere . The waiter was very patient, friendly and helpful with our very limited Spanish and we had a great selection of tapas. The albondigas and shrimp pancakes were particularly good. They also have some great local wine.

The menu is fairly straightforward, but the execution is first class. We had brilliant pate de foie gras, superior albondigas, and a very good baked goats cheese dish. Service was friendly and efficient. Only a 100 metres from the Parador, a thoroughly pleasant spot.

We came across this unusual restaurant and had lunch of tapas and wine which we really enjoyed. we were staying in Arcos for 1 night only so we went back for our evening meal as it was so nice there, not disappointed and the prawns were delicious, also recommend the goats cheese in red pepper jam!

We were staying outside Arcos and had a few night's tapas eating in the town. This place was so good we went twice. The place was full of locals, which is always a good sign, and served original, good quality tapas. Highlights were the prawn pancakes (more like fritters), the Andalucian tomatoes and the aubergine with goats cheese. And of... More

The cave setting is nicely done and the food was good and plentiful. We split a large tomato salad and an enormous veal cutlet.

Recommended by our nearby hotel (Hotel Convento)! We were it disappointed. This cave-like restaurant/tapas bar wants the customer to be pleased. Great staff, super great pricing, excellent tapas, central location to the upper part of Arcos, and seems to be a bit "classier". Recommend sitting in the bar area's slightly larger tables in lieu of the "cave" area. The place... More
