My husband and I decided to have diner in town after spending 3H at the Therme. This was spontaneous as we just park in the center of town and walked into this charming place. The people were very friendly and the menu was full of possibilities. My husband chose a 3 courses menu at prix fixe for 25€, à great... More
It's been a while that I left a restaurant with such a good feeling. You get treated as a king here. The host is amazing and she pays attention to everything. The setting is cosy and decorated with art nouveau features. The food was also very good. I had cheese croquettes as a starter and the taste was very good.... More
Looking for a nice meal while here on Thanksgiving day and chose La Belle Epoque based on TA reviews. Across the street from Radisson Blu Hotel, this cute restaurant seats about 36 people comfortably. I was greeted warmly at the door by a young lady who insisted she hang my coat for me as I turned to do it myself.... More
We are staying in Spa at the Radisson Blu and having read unfriendly reviews about our hotel restaurant, we decided to find a restaurant nearby. We went for dinner at La Belle Époque on a Thursday evening, the restaurant was very quiet and the ambiance very relaxed and inviting. We were served an amazing appetiser (on the house) of pumpkin... We asked for the menu at La Belle Epoque at lunch time and we decided to have only drinks... we've got our drinks and after five minutes the waiter came to us with the bill " without asking for it"... as " pay and go"!!!
We had lunch while passing through Spa. Not the cheapest restaurant, but really impressive food and service. We ate outside. Mussels in cream and garlic sauce, and a merguez salad were both really good. Fantastic chips too. Fresh warm rolls. A memorable lunch.
We spent a week in an apartment in Spa and this was the only restaurant we went back to twice. A pleasant art nouveau bar / restaurant with a range of Belgian dishes. It reminded me of the old maxim that Belgian cuisine is a cross between French and German cuisine. The quality of French and the quantity of German.... More
Had a very enjoyable meal from arriving to leaving . We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in - very good attentive service with excellent food making our experience memorable. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Spa.
Beautiful place, people very nice and food very good. Kids asked a hamburger but they were not regular ones, they are made from a roll of pork, not suitable for kids. They should advice it. But the other dishes were great. And they speak a bit of Spanish!
