Just finished lunch and I am impressed. Definitely a place to return if in Phuket. I think you can order anything off the menu and it'll be delicious, even drinks like coffee and tea were good. Mango sticky rice cost the same as street hawker (THb 100). Service was friendly and prompt. Party of 6 spent about $110 total.

My wife and I met here with some family who happened to be in Phuket at the same time. Lovely staff and an enormous range of beautifully prepared authentic Thai food. Service was efficient and polite. Prices were fantastic...4 meals, 4 Cokes, 8 bottles of beer for 1,160 Baht (about £28 including the tip). Well worth a visit to Phuket Town!

The food and service here are excellent. We visited as a family of four and there wasn't a dish that we ordered that disappointed. The service was fantastic and the food even better. It isn't cheap, but you don't visit this kind of restaurant expecting a cheap eat. Having said that, it was still very affordable for a family to eat here.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to try local Thai food.

Food was good. I had the crispy pork & yellow chicken curry. Reasonable priced… staff could be a bit friendlier although as they are so busy due to good food reviews I guess they don’t feel the need to bother!

It was a very difficult to choose to dine if you only had one day in Phuket! We picked this one because it is busy and had good reviews. We had to wait for about 30 mins for a table because we did not book a table, just arrived and we could not leave the restaurant once you put your name down. It was pretty quick anyhow. It was also very difficult to order food for 2 pp given that everything looked delicious and it was delicious..we went for signature dishes which was a pork dish, some local green stir fried and steamed curry with crab. All delicious and a good quality food..

After a long wait (1/2 h) we have been forgotten by the waiters (another 1/2h). When comes the time of ordering, 3 out of 4 dishes were not available. Then for a very basic pad Thai, the tofu was burned and the shrimps tested the same (burn). We even had to request -gesticulating for this occasion- glasses for our drinks). We are still honestly wondering why this restaurant has a Michelin sticker on its door, there are many other places in town that offer much better food and service.

Food was good, but reason I’m giving 3 stars is that for a Michelin guide restaurant, your service is bad. From the moment we entered no one welcomed us, instead we were ushered to our seats with unfriendly waitresses. On top of that, our order was overlooked, and when we followed up with the waitress who took our order, she just walked away grumpily. Other tables who came in after us received their food first, and it took us complaining 3 times before someone finally went into the kitchen to check on our food. Terrible service.

This quirky little restaurant is fab and the food to die for. We had crab curry and fresh fish and it was excellent. The crab curry was quite spicy but we like spicy food so that was not a problem. The staff were really efficient and friendly and the food was brought out to us without too long a delay. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

The food is delicious. It comes in small serving so you can order a variety to try without worrying you can’t finish the food. Tom Yum Gong (clear) is spicy and authentic. Crab yellow curry is a must try. The crispy fried egg with crab meat is simply amazing! Price is very affordable. However the Restuarant is very crowded and waiting time is about 20mins. But worth the wait. I think the food here is better than Raya Thai.

Came here with high expectations and were met! Serves Thai Chinese food with some Peranakan influence. Almost all the favourites we ordered - yellow crab curry, fried pork with salt, steamed fish, yellow chicken curry hit the high notes. It was Very crowded so make sure you make reservations. Service was very good despite the crowd. The restaurants interior is classic Peranakan so those coming from Malacca and Singapore will feel right at home and you cannot go wrong with Thai Peranakan cooking!

Very local place in a beautiful old colonial house. When tired of the ever-boring and interchangeable fake Thai food blanded down for the average tourist palate, you finally come to an actual Thai restaurant and your taste buds open up again. Delicious, spicy (as far as you want to), flavorful. We were a group of 8 and basically had an experience across their entire menu.

This has to be one of our top meals in Thailand! Wow!! So impressed with the food here. We had the signature dish pub belly which was to die for, along with the crab curry (very generous with the curry) and the Tom yum soup!! Very clean restaurant. We arrived on a Sunday for lunch, no lines and no reservation and were seated right away. Nice staff and very clean establishment. Will definitely recommend!

We went to the restaurant for a quick lunch after reading different reviews of restaurants in Phuket Town on different websites, honestly we were not disappointed, not even a bit. The food was delicious, very authentic local food, and the services were friendly, prompt and very helpful. Highly recommend the place.

I went there with my grandmother and it seemed to be a popular southern restaurant. The restaurant was well decorated like stepping back in time 40-50 years.
The taste was very original but warning is very hot and spicy. The rice noodle with crab curry and local Phuket pork stew (หมูฮ้à¸à¸‡) is a must (not spicy but insanely delicious).
I highly recommended this place but bear in mind if you are not good with spicy just tell them no spicy or very very little spicy.

I know the owners of One Chun and Raya are related and both restaurants are next to each other. I always suspected they share the same kitchen but they deny it. The food is pretty much the same, both are really good. One Chun is slightly cheaper and more "homey". Dining room full of antiques. Only parking available is along the street, Raya doesn't let you park there.
