Off all the shacks and huts including the apparently fantastic harbour lights! This place is the best on the bay hands down , large fish is like a shark everything fresh cooked not greasy but filling as hell. Don't be looking for the red paint cabin they have redecorated it. Although it is easily found it is the 4 th... More

Delicious fish and chips, friendly and cheerful staff. What more could you ask for when visiting the sea side? :)

Cooked from fresh to the order so there is a approximately a six minute wait for food. Arrives in the usual insulated white carton. Nicely cooked, good batter and fine chips. Would certainly use it again.

Warm, crispy, fresh and perfectly cooked fish. Cooked to order by very attentive and friendly lady. You MUST try their fish and chips. Perhaps walk to The George at the end of the street and accompany it with a pint of Tally Ho or Dorset Gold.

At the end of a fab day, sightseeing and crabbing we wanted to end our day and weeks holiday with a fish and chip tea. We first stopped at Harbour Lights shack but the vile/rude woman put us off straightaway. So we wandered to the other side of the road and found The Tea Caddy hut and what a little... More

If you want your fish-n-chips fresh, crispy and succulent there is no better place to try in West Bay than the Tea Caddy. The couple who runs it know the biz - they've been in it for donkeys! But their thoroughness and attention to everything seems to be only increasing. And they listen to their customers: the latest welcome addition... More

Description
We are a small take-away food kiosk serving predominantly fish and chips, burgers, jacket potatoes etc. Every effort is made to conform to environmental health requirements pertaining to food preparation and cleanliness of premises and, following a recent EH inspection, have retained our 5* national rating. Due to the size of our premises we are only able to hold a certain amount of stock per day and so it's inevitable that on occasion we may sell out of some main items. Our aim is to provide relatively inexpensive but well prepared food. The average cooking time per order is around 5 minutes and only so many orders can be prepared at the same time - therefore there will sometimes be a waiting time. Time to chill out and watch the world go by.
