Great lunch at the Old Hall, fantastic food, good ambience and a happy, smiley and efficient waitress ... what more could you want for a memorable family meal out. Thanks Old Hall, we’ll be back.

Our group of 14 booked a table in the restaurant for an early Christmas lunch. The food - main course, turkey with trimmings, and desert, Sticky Christmas pudding was excellent. Service was quite good. The only downside was that a service charge of 10% was...More

I would question if this review is meant for us? We don't have a massive menu, everything is prepared fresh daily, and produce is sourced from local farms, including our own chefs farm. I would really appreciate any comments regarding the visit (dan@old-hall-inn.co.uk). We pride...More

Good service, high quality food, eaten there twice recently and very much enjoyed my food on both occasions. Tho not a vegetarian there are good options for those who are.

’m very disappointed to read your review. I do wish we had had the opportunity to address your issues directly, as both myself and my team would have been very accommodating in having the beef cooked more for you, more gravy etc, and/or replace anything...More

Thank you for your review. You are right in that dogs are very welcome in the bar area and at the paper mill, but not in the rooms I’m afraid.

We are proud of our reputation for great local ales and have an amazing regular following, who are not only responsible for the wonderfull lively atmosphere you will find at the Old Hall, but also for allowing such an extensive selection of traditional hand pulled cask ales and ciders to be offered. We offer a home cooked menu, using local produce, with a restaurant that extends into the Old Hall itself, complete with Elizabethan Minstrels Gallery.
