After a beautiful drive up the coast we arrived at The Birches. Our two day stay far exceeded our expectations. Turns out we were the only guests in this large and lovely resort. Our room was grand and beautifully appointed. Had we stayed when the weather was warmer we would have taken advantage of the wrap around balcony and the... More

My wife and I stayed there on a Saturday in October and the only thing to do was to stay in your room and wait for diner. The room was large and modern and the food was above average!

Recently stayed at the Birches and were extremely pleased with the accommodations and the dinners at Malcolm's. Every meal in our party of four was excellent, including halibut and seafood risotto, pork tenderloin, seafood chowder, lamb, etc. The chef is absolutely brilliant. The owners of the inn were extremely friendly and know they have a special talent in the kitchen.

This restaurant should be high on anyone's list. I was staying at the inn and that is why I had even heard of it, but this restaurant deserves a trip of its own! Everything was well prepared, fresh and delicious. The chef came out personally to make sure everything was fine (it was) and the service was attentive and relaxed.... More

We came here to dine as part of a company event so the menu was previously selected and there was no room to deviate from the selection made for the group. However the food and service were amazing. They managed to service a group of around 30 without any hassle: staff ran smooth among the tables serving amazingly presented and... More

What can I say? Stayed at the Birches for two nights and ate at Malcolm's both evenings. It was amazing from the service, to the food to the total experience. I had the seafood risotto filled with scallops, lobster and mussels with halibut and seasonal veggies ($30.00 and worth every penny) 2 types of homemade bread with maple or undated... More

The Birches At Ben Eoin is a wonderfully quiet and picturesque get away anytime of year. The staff is very attentive and helpful and the food, oh my goodness, the food was to die for! The room was gorgeous and pefectly clean. The fireplace was going as well as beautiful music playing when we entered our room. I would highly... More
