A small charming restaurant on the town square. Everything we ordered was delicious. Especially loved the tea and sandwiches. The waffles with fruit and whip cream are to die for. Delightful staff

4+ years in coming to P.M., this is a must 2+ visits each week. The eggs Benny is without question the best eggs Benedict ever. Taken menu friends, and mostly family - literally every time - it's a '10'!

We ate breakfast here a couple of days. We heard good things, but we were still blown away by our food.

Party of 3, we had a great breakfast. Everyone ordered something different and they all were exceptional. 3 others went back the next day and again and exceptional meal.

The only knock we ever had against elNicho in years past was that the service was very slow, sometimes resulting in cold food. Today, our server, Gloria, was efficient, friendly and even funny. The food, of course, was as fabulous as it has always been. I had the Eggs Benedict "Benny", and Lorraine had the "Divorced Eggs". My EB had... More

elNicho is under new management, but you would never know it! The food continues to be superb. It's a good idea to get there early for breakfast, and perhaps a bit late (1 PM) for lunch. We haven't ever been disappointed in the food or service!

We found ourselves at Puerto Morelos at 12:30 noon and they told us this was one of the few places that serves breakfast until late... Great thinking in my opinion since the place was crowded and the others were empty! I travel with food allergies and they prepared me something special, I was really grateful! Highly recommended!

Ate here twice during our trip to Puerto Morales. Delicious juices and fruit. And the eggs Benedict are perfectly prepared. Small, quaint space that is worth the wait

We love having breakfast here. The food is beyond belief and the Holindaise sauce would make Gordon RAMSEY proud. Great food, atmosphere and fantastic staff.

4th year in Puerto Morelos. We walk the beach to breakfast here. Always good; always insistent. All is good, but favorite is the huevos diviorciados. The orange and grapefruit juices couldn't be any better- fresh squeezed. No reservations, but usually only a short wait and worth it.

Description
el Nicho is a beautiful place to spend a leasurely brunch. It is across from the park and has a peak-a-boo view of the ocean. The room is full of lovely sites and sounds from beautifully presented food, to great music. The walls feature artwork from local artists and the service is top notch.
