Stopped here during a drive up the PCH, there's not around on that drive and this is an decent place to stop off. You do get a great view with your food. There's nothing special about the food here. I had a sandwich with some fries with was okay. The bathroom here could do with some serious cleaning, it wasn't... More

Loved this place. We were driving the San Fran to LA trip when we came across this gem. We sat in the window, had lunch and felt the warmth on our faces from the last of the days sun shining in. Definitely go back when I do this trip again.

We were here in January 2016 for breakfast on our way through, nice cafe with beautiful views. Food was a little pricey but yummy.

There aren't many options cruising down the PCH around the Big Sur area. That being said, there are options about 30 minutes North or South of "Gorda Springs" that are more reasonable on pricing. The cafe is situated on a beautiful cove that is well known for whale watching (hence the name). We saw a few in the late afternoon... More

Stopped on my way up the coast. Paid $4.00 for a cup of undrinkable coffee. And they don't have cream. (No, Nestle edible oil products are not cream) The place is well-outfitted: maybe they spent all their management $$ on fountain plants and patio tiles.

This was by far the most expensive breakfast we have ever had and trust me it was nothing special at all, an amazing setting but that's it, make sure you take a picnic and spend your dollars elsewhere 🐳

We stopped at this cafe for lunch during the day trip to Big Sur. Have to say the service was poor - we waited 15 minutes before we were asked to order. The food is only ok and slightly overpriced. Not recommended unless you have no other options and are desperate for some food in that area.

We were very hungry when we found this place and found the food tasty. Our server was very friendly and helpful, also. The toilets are outside and are used by everyone who stops there - not just the restaurant patrons - and they were pretty bad. Would be better if they had their own toilet and kept it clean.

This place is an OK tourist stop on PCH if you don't mind being ripped off. The breakfast was just fine, there is not much you can get wrong with a standard American Breakfast - it was Denny's standard. But wow, $120 for 4 people. We all had; 2 eggs, home fries, bacon, sausage and toast, with coffee and OJ.... More

There's not much else around so these guys can afford to hike the price up a bit. Good food but expensive...and we waited a long time even though it wasn't that busy.
