My two sons and their respective took be to the Moody Cow as a Mothers Day treat and what a treat it was. The service was very friendly yet professional and the food......the food was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to go again. All home made and or locally sourced. So glad this little gem was saved from closure.

After visting Westons earlier in the day we were in need of a lunch before heading off to the Forest of Dean, a quick search on TripAdvisor showed The Moody Cow as being one of the closest and very highly rated - we can see why! We arrived at 2pm and very kindly the kitchen remained open for us to... More

Wonderful food. Came here a year ago having visited the Malvern spring festival. My daughter asked if I'd booked the Moody Cow this year on our visit to the show again. I booked it and had a wonderful meal once more. Here's to next year!

Recently went to this place for the very first time. Had booked a table for 12noon to eat lunch with a friend. Just as well we had booked as this seems like an extremely popular little place to eat! I doubt you can just walk in at peak time on a Saturday and be lucky enough to get a table... More

I came here with some family for my 30th birthday. The pub itself is very pretty, the staff are friendly and the food is phenomenal! I'm a vegetarian and liked the options that were given to me. I had the brie wedges to start as it's one of my favourites and they were the most delicious ones I've ever had!... More

4 of us just dropped in for Sunday lunch on our way from Wales to Yorkshire and were really impressed with the quality of food on offer and the pleasant ambience. The manager personally made us welcome and checked on how things were for us on a couple of occasions. They routinely support a charity and this time it was... More

We have found a complete gem of a restaurant so don't want to tell everyone or we might not be able to get in! The staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout our lunch. The menu choices are creative, using local produce and tasted out of this world. Even the fussy eater amongst was more than satisfied with both choice... More

From start to finish this fine establishment needs recognition for everything they do. I booked on Monday after reading fantastic reviews about The Moody cow. A nice lunch for both me and my mum on a rare Friday off work. We really weren't disappointed. We were warmly greeted at the bar and were shown to our table even though we... More

We ate here on Saturday evening having read the reviews. None of us chose a starter as we liked the look of the sweets but I think this turned out to be our mistake and suspect our order was misplaced in the kitchen as a result. Whilst we appreciate all the dishes are cooked freshly to order and as such... More

Management response:

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. You are quite right, it should not have taken us so long to cook your food on Saturday night. Your decision not to have a starter wasn't a mistake on your part, and your order wasn't misplaced by us either, the only reason it took us longer than usual to... More
