first thing to mention: What a kind, attentive and professional staff... oh boy, we felt not really pampered, but much more: Warmly welcomed. And this in the middle of Corona crazy times where people get more and more fed up and aggressive, no, the smile...of these brave young people managing to keep up with an extraordinary service was felt behind the masks... food was very good, the wines... well, we had a tasting after lunch and than the car loaded with bottles... ambience, style, design, nature, integration of everything... couldn't have been happier with how this day wentMore
The place is extraordinary.
5 stars: meal, wine, view, art centre, store, buliding.
The service is exquisite : Rita is passonate about the wines and history of Quetzal.
Not to miss.
Make sure you make a reservation
I had been here first in February and craved to go back as soon as possible, so went back in July. The spot is beautiful, very well decorated, I love that tables are set apart even before covid19, giving us so much privacy to enjoy...our meals with the people we chose to be with. I especially commend the Chef João Mourato, as we had the tasting menu both times and both times were a delight. Kudos for the lamb and the "drunken pears". Another special kudos for Pedro their sommelier who is just the nicest person overall and so passionate about their wine we just couldn't leave without leaving our hard-earned cash at their store. Thank you thank you, thank you!More
We went there for dinner and it was a surprise. The food and the service were very good and the wine is also a must. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the view due to the nightfall but will definitely go back.

Hi Filipa! Thank you very much for your visit! I guess, in the near future, we will wait for you at Lunch time! Until then, have a wonderful New Years Eve and a fantastic 2020!
Had a great dinner here overlooking the vineyard - good, fresh food, lovely wine, and friendly service. Beautiful view (be sure to go before sunset!) and gorgeous hand painted tiles inside.
**Be sure to make a reservation (some people at my hotel tried to go,...but could not without a reservation).**More
I had a fantastic time at the Centro de Arte Quetzal. It is very much worth the drive. You can take a wine tour, learn that the wine rests in a beautifully lit room to classical music for the best outcome, have fabulous food and...on top of it all, see some art!
The restaurant alone is quite outstanding, a great menu and stunning views in a remote and quiet setting. I highly recommend visiting Quetzal.More
Very nice place and top views. Modern and cozy environment. Modern couzine. We asked codfish (very nice) and duck magret (very nice taste but to much minimalist, none vegetable, potato, nothing, just meat and sauce). Wines are good but again desearsts were disappointment. Good experience...but not 5 stars.More
We were travelling south and were visiting another winery in the afternoon, but needed somewhere for lunch. This had the best reviews for places in the area and we found out why! They had a good choice on the menu, the staff very attentive and...the food was excellent. We will return again.!!More
