Amazing music and food. The owner gets some very talented people to perform. It's a little gem of a place!

The pizza and wings were fantastic and what a nice treat on a rainy afternoon. We will do this again!

We went there with friends. We went for wing night. The place was very clean and the service was ver good.

Stopped in for lunch while visiting the area. Great to find 8 beers on tap. Food was good and prices very reasonable. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We have had the pleasure of eating here during two of our visits home. I have to say the food is pretty consistent. My favorites are the pizza, wings and cheese curds. Guy is an awesome cook! We look forward to returning in May!

Was so looking forward to a great pizza - what a joke! - Waitress said a small one would feed the two of us - wrong - toppings were extremely sparse - dough was flattened and burnt on edges - cheese (unknown quality) formed a...ball in your mouth that required lots of chewing - have never seen reviews so far off the mark - I spoke to the waitress and the normal cook (possible owner?) was cooking that night. She acted as though that was a normal pie - good luck!More

Stopped here for lunch and I tried the fish and chips while my son had a burger. This is good pub fare. Pretty good menu with a variety of items. If you are in the area stop by and give it a try.

The amount of times we have gone past and said we should try there. Well today we did and I have to say I was not disappointed. It was a lunch time drop in so it was quiet for a Monday. Typical bar food is...offered at very reasonable prices. We went with a medium Pizza which is as big as most other offerings "large" Nice base with REAL toppings. Which lends some credence to thier claim of the best north of T.O. A decent selection of craft beers too which is always a bonus feature for me. This will be one of those "once discovered never forgotten" places so next trip will be an evening visit as they get some really good music names in this small venue.More

The Lavigne Tavern is a wonderful Northern Ontario gem. We stopped there for lunch on a Sunday & were greeted by Guy & Judy. They were wonderful hosts. The beer was cold & they had a nice craft variety on tap. The food that we...had wasn’t overly special, but they had a nice selection of Canadian go-tos. I only wish we could have checked out the live music in the evenings, as the place has a really rustic, lived & loved vibe to it, and that is right up my alley.More

While attending a family gathering in the area, came here for dinner with 16 other family members on Civic Holiday weekend - due to many positive comments on Trip Advisor & also the Tavern's website. So glad that we did! Food was incredible: house-made pizza...was exceptional, delicious wings, fries & poutine ... everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. Also had several craft beers to choose, served ice cold. Food, beer & wine prices all very reasonable. Our server Kali was awesome, very attentive & all food orders served hot & in a timely manner! As indicated in other Trip Advisor reviews, this is not a restaurant, it is a tavern which serves great food - definitely agree! Plan to return here again when back in the area, as we have since heard that they have great entertainment on weekends & local bands on Thursday nights!
