Found by accident at start of our walk along the Cauldon Canal. Only had time for coffe, but very nice. Staff helpful, cakes looked delicious and menu looked interesting and good price. Furthermore cafe was spotless, crocks collected quickly and efficiently and tables spray cleaned....More

Came here for lunch while walking our dog. Was served politely by “Jane” food brought to us outside. Also a shoutout “Edie” who showed our dog great love and made sure she was happy. Thanks again.

We've walked the area a few times - the long stroll from Froghall Wharf to the Black Lion at Consall is nice on a good day, or you could take the train from Kingsley&Froghall to Consall and walk back, but only on a live running...More

Great staff.. Wonderful setting.. but.. just ok food... breakfast ..ok... however. Rather expensive .. 4.50 for a cheesy oatcake? And almost 7.00 for a breakie? Without toast! Juat felt that as a local person in mid winter.. was taken advantage of.... Yes would 're visit.....More

A great place for hot drinks and lunch. Really great restoration of a historic building, great fittings and menu to boot. I recommend the Jack Daniels chicken flat bread, well all the food for our table was great, couldn't recommend highly enough for a daytime...More

Beautiful food, I visited with friends a few months back and had a sandwich platter containing crisps, scone, sandwiches ect It was lovely and very filling Staff friendly and welcoming Lovely little gem to come across

Only guide dogs allowed in the tea rooms, lots of space outside where you can eat and have a drink with your dogs.

It's open now. I was there at 10 this morning and there were people sitting outside having breakfast . Lovely morning for a walk.
