"Pugnacious," Not my intention at all what so ever. Having read through my previous response I am struggling to see where I have accused the customer of being wrong. I did apologised for you not enjoying your fish & chips, maybe this one slipped through...More

You know how it is: never know what to do for Saturday lunch so we inevitably try somewhere we've not been in ages. This week we stopped at The Peacock in Cutthorpe with mixed results. Still looks well done out, is comfortable, and welcoming. The...More

Thank you for your fantastic review. I really appreciate you taking the time to do so. As you said booking on a Sunday is always advised. You have hit the nail bang on the head with your comments about the roast beef. Its nice when...More

Had a beautiful lunch in fabulous surroundings here. Everything was great apart from the awful rude attitude of the older female waitress with blonde hair (I'm unsure of the name). Other staff were happy to help and went above and beyond but this 'lady' really...More

Social media, don't we just love it. This review puzzles me slightly as it really doesn't fit with the profile of any of the staff that currently work here. Customer service is something we pride ourselves in and I really can't understand why you may...More

We had to find a place to turnaround but it was worth it for a Sunday lunch. Very crowded but they worked us in. Roast leg of lamb was perfectly prepared and came with cheesy cauliflower , green beans roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding

Food was simple and fresh. Very enjoyable - cut down menu because of bank holiday but we still found things we wanted. Staff efficient and friendly.
