Was a regular customer eating there weekly. New menu very 'pubby'as mentioned in several reviews below. Good standard has dropped it the price is still high and now poor value. When asked if the meal was ok, the waitress that it was fine pub food when drinking but not a dinner menu. Was told this is is the way four... More

I am a Coach House regular and met up with friends for dinner last night. The new menu offered great choice and I had a job to decide, but plumped for the risotto in the end. I wasn't disappointed; it was delicious. Looking forward to trying some of the other new dishes. Great atmosphere, excellent service and lovely food. All... More

We live in locally and know the Coach House well which is why we chose to eat there last week, however it was disappointing. The new eating area is fairly stark and hasn't much atmosphere, however it is clean and tidy. Sadly the menu is limited and the prices for too high for the food on offer. We had a... More

Had a business meeting over coffee. Waitress asked me for my credit card to keep and gave me a tab card. When finished my colleague handed back the tab card and paid with cash. Waitress forgot to return my credit card. Later in day I discover the loss. It's a fair drive back to the pub and a major inconvenience.... More

I absolutely loved staying at the coach house and it was a great little escape for me and my boyfriend. I had the veggie burger and it was good but I wouldn't say that it rocked my socks off, I can't really complain about it either though. It was very well presented but it was just missing the wow factor... More

We regularly visit The Coach House because of the high standard of food, interesting flavour combinations and generally a very good eating experience for a reasonable price. We've never been disappointed. HOWEVER, we ate there last night and it has all changed. This is no longer a restaurant, rather a pub/diner. To give you an idea: there are no longer... More

Menu has changed so none of the pictures above relate to what's on the menu now. Food has gone 'pubby' which is fine for the pub side but not if you're looking for a meal like above., Felt more 'diner'. Will be interesting to see how it fairs as the Royal Oak around the corner has upped their menu.

We came for mothers day and had the roast. It is outstanding. We also came for cream tea and cakes for an afternoon a couple years ago and they always exceed. I have never been disappointed at the coach house. Their food is divine and it is very easy to get to. Their parking is big and they have an... More

Recently visited on a Saturday evening with friends, this was our second visit, everyone really enjoyed the food, wine and cocktails. The service was very quick and friendly. Not the cheapest but definitely the best place to go for high quality food and drink in the area.
