What a beautiful journey to reach this friendly little pub. Such a relaxing garden, pretty reasonable food and overall charming atmosphere. The only downside was the bed - I've never known mattress springs to reverberate so loudly.

Description
Welcoming, family-friendly and dog-friendly pub. We have a lovely relaxed, award winning restaurant that seats aprox 26 for lunch or dinner. We also cater for groups (e.g. walkers and cyclists enjoying the beautiful South Downs National Park nearby). We use locally sourced produce and make as much as possible from scratch - as such the menus are smaller than some restaurants, but everything is freshly prepared, made to order, changes frequently, and can accommodate various dietary requirements. Booking recommended to avoid disappointment.
