It really is a special little place, staff very attentive and welcoming, Space limited but that's part of the attraction. Cottage is stunning. It's a only ten minutes away from the Air Museum at Duxford, which I was visiting. I had the homemade sausage roll, ginger cake and a cup of tea, all were lovely. The staff were busy but... More

I visited this tearoom today following a 36km mountain bike ride around the area. The couple that run the tearoom (I assume they are the owners) are absolutely delightful and very welcoming. I chose the cauliflower and chickpea soup with locally baked bread to start with. The soup was lovely and the bread was absolutely delicious. This was followed by... More

Always a nice cake , normally a couple of gluten free choices! If you want a soya coffee, they can oblige, you just pay for a small carton and take it home... Perfect

Always good to read that the gluten free cakes are appreciated. Out of interest, our range of sandwiches are also available with gluten free bread. Thank you for promoting our business. More

Independent teahouse. The drinks were homemade and delicious. The food was really very tasty. Good selection and would trust anything made here. It all seems delicious and the location is quiet, gorgeous and feels like 'proper' countryside. I can't fault it at all. The staff seem incredibly helpful and professional. I had an issue paying my bill (they didn't take... More

Thank you for your encouraging review. I guess that like many independent businesses we do not spend fortunes on advertising, so a review that encourages both us and future customers is appreciated. Delighted you found Teacake and enjoyed the experience. More

A warm welcome, an interesting broad menu, eye-catching presentation, high quality in everything, all made with intelligence, love and skill, this is more than just a tea room. This is a prime example of 'surprise and delight, and exceed expectations'. Worth a detour, and why not link it with a visit to the 2 unique local gardens open, on select... More

We very much appreciate your so descriptive support of our independent business. At Teacake we always endeavour to make the customer experience a good one, though I am sure we don’t always get it 100% right, when we get very busy. It is therefore great to read that in your case, we managed to exceed expectations. Thank you for taking... More

Very quaint place with a lovely traditional feel to it and very good home-made food. Visit on a sunny day to enjoy the back garden too!

Delighted you enjoyed your visit to Teacake and thank you for your review. Sadly cannot always promise the sunny bit in the Tea garden, hence the cosy tearoom. More

This is a charming little tea shop with a small garden to sit out in. You need to go back out the front door and around the side to get to it. The staff made us very welcome and were most obliging. The sandwiches were tasty and the coffee was good. A fairly tight staircase leads to further seating upstairs... More

My Husband took me here for my birthday as I love afternoon tea and have been to many in the past. Lovely small vintage tea shop with lots of choice of sandwiches and cakes, all served in vintage cups and saucers. Small courtyard outdoor seating area. Great friendly staff with a homely feeling, great service and food.
