We went to villa esedra for lunch and arrived a bit before they opened (12:30). But the waiter welcomed us anyway and started to serve. The food was very good and we didn’t had to wait long for it. Still everything was freshly prepared. Good...More
We stopped at Villa Esedra for lunch after visiting Hadrian's Villa (which it is right next too).
It has a light, cool elegant feel and a shaded terrace both used for lunch.
Note they don't fire up the pizza oven for lunch, so we choose...More

After walking around Hadrian's Villa we decided to stop in this restaurant which was on the way out of the site. They have a nice selection of dishes, some of them quite sophisticated, but a little expensive. Nice staff and good service.

After we visited the excavations of Villa Hadriana, we went to this nearby situated restaurant for a lunch in the gardens. We all ordered a lunch menu, and it tasted delicious! All for a reasonable price. The service was friendly.
We had the seafood appetiser which was sublime! There was chopped raw tuna, fried calamari, mussels, zucchini flowers fried with something that tasted like oysters.
The turbot fish was done to perfection. Succulent, fine-meat, the whole fish was properly cooked with no part overdone.
