As we were on a group-tour, we had a pre-ordered meal and I enjoyed my tortilla soup as well as the Tipico Meal with sausage, flank steak, refried...beans and a chocolate cake. This restaurant is in a convenient location for the days drive between San Salvador and Copan, Honduras. Just SW of the town of Metapan off route 12. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed the setting in the countryside, overlooking a lake. The restaurant was spacious...and clean, service was good for our tour group. I had the ribs which I found to be fatty, the other dishes were okay, nothing special foodwise.More

Our group stayed at Copa Cabana for 12 days, the staff prepared a different breakfast every morning. We also ate most dinners there as well when we returned each day. The place is well known for the great food, the excellent customer service and for the views of the small lake, "La Laguna de Guija". A must visit...restaurant, even if you are only in Metapan for one day.More
