I took a first date here for lunch. It was perfect. The wine tastings were generous ...we loved the sparkling chardonnay. We both had a vegetarian lunch which was lovely. It had some heat without being overpowering in anyway. Desert was panacotta..silky and lemony. So refreshing and perfect for the end of the meal. The garden was nice. Nothing fancy... More

Can't recommend this place for lunch anymore. It was recommended by locals so could have been a bad day or new chef? Table of 5 all orders we very small and average for the price we where asked to pay. After ordering and eating we discovered the daily special board ourselves as it was not mentioned by the wait staff.... More

Very disappointed 🙁. Food fair, but certainly not value for money. Will not be recommending to others.

Food isn't really anything to talk about, deserts were pretty mundane. Maybe some menu re-invention is required.

St Aidan's has a simple but delicious menu for late morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. The staff and owners are very friendly. The wine is very reasonably priced. Also a lovely place for functions. Check out their website for the summer entertainment of plays, concerts and films. Have been there and taken visitors many times. Visit the Ferguson Valley... Fabulous winery with friendly staff, generous wine tastings and perfect lunch platters in a lovely garden setting. A must to visit.

4 of us ventured into the Ferguson Valley for lunch. Pleasant surroundings. Service pretty slow. Food was adequate but nothing startling. Not a huge choice. Enjoyable afternoon but pretty mid range in all aspects. Wines were OK but again nothing to write home about.

I took a very dear friend and her mother to St Aidan's for lunch as a surprise for her birthday. Wow...the food was amazing but to add to this the staff and service was excellent. Would highly recommend....the surroundings are amazing...such a relaxing beautiful place to go.
