Walked past Figaro looking for a feed and decided to give it a go. We'll priced meals along with prompt service. The meal was full of flavour and very authentic. It was surprising how large the meals actually are. Recommend this place to anyone wanting a good but quick feed...

We recently visited Figaro to celebrate a birthday, just before Xmas. The place was packed but the service was excellent; they worked very hard, with just the right amount of time between courses. We shared the tomato bruschetta and the calamari for entrèe, both very nice. For mains, veal porcini, gnocchi, spaghetti allo Scoglio and veal saltimbocca; all very good.... More

I last visited Figaro some years back and it was a good Italian restaurant so the family and I decided to go there again and it has certainly changed. We hadn't booked and required a table for 5 people. 'There was plenty of empty tables for 6 people however rather than give us one of those, we were squeezed into... More

I had been to this restaurant a couple of years ago and found the food average and service poor, so was reluctant to give it another go. However, I'm glad I did. Simple home cooked pasta, with flavoursome sauce. Decent wine list. We found the young staff to be pleasant and efficient.....but going by an earlier review, maybe we just... More

The food was up there with the worst I have had at a restaurant. Customer service was THE worst I have encountered. One brunette staff member has a disgusting customer service approach. Extremely disappointed and don't have a good word to say about it other then it's in a good location.

We visited Figaro recently after walking around all the restaurants in the Kingston area and we are glad we finally settled on Figaro ! We had wonderful service, the meals were huge but beautifully cooked - (we had the lamb shanks) and the atmosphere is lovely. We had a lovely night there and will certainly visit again !

Absolutely loved this place. We were a group of 10 there for a farewell and the food was perfect authentic Italian and heaps of it. I am a big eater but this even slowed me down. The antipasto entrée was huge and I shared that with my wife which I'm glad I did because it was to big for one.... More

Kingston has always been our favourite area for a meal. We noticed some restaurants have closed but more up market but crowded ones took their places. Others looked deserted. After roaming a while we sat down at Figaro. The menu was not extensive and looked a bit tired. So we chose from the blackboard specials. Without any great expectation, my... More

The Figaro proved to be a very inviting restaurant - such enjoyable atmosphere with great food - Italian theme, but really well presented and enjoyable. We arrived early and saw the restaurant fill up and this was a Thursday night. The service was not "in your face" and low key, but the waiters attended us very well. An awesome place... More

Lovelly little restaurant in Kingston. A bit pricey, entree was amazing, mains were more of a mixed bag. Half of the table loved them as much as the mains (these people ordered pizzas and steaks). The other half (myself included) had more average meals (gnocchi and pasta). The gnocchi in particular was very disappointing. However, the service was excellent, the... More
