Authentic Indian food and some of the best in Canberra. Very tasty. I love their Vindaloo. I would recommend.

Absolutely loved the food and the welcoming and unfussy atmosphere. Good lighting, and conversation-level music. Reasonable wine prices. Plenty of Indians dining on the evening we were there, which was encouraging. We had thali and dosa, everything was authentic and delicious and reasonably priced. Perfect lassi. The only criticism would be that our kulfi ice-cream was frozen a bit hard... More

over priced for you actually get, there's not enough meat and vege's in the dishes and too much sauce.

We tried this restaurant at Oatley Court Belconnen (not Franklin Street as listed) because of a Global Village deal offer. We would normally not venture so far out of our local area to eat. But we were very pleasantly surprised, especially in light of a few negative reviews we read on line after booking. The food was excellent – we... More

The service was reasonable if a bit indifferent and the food was disappointing. The Lamb Roghan Josh was not very much meat and lots of oil and the flavour was pretty bland. My wife ate the Mysore Masala Dosai and it was big but not particularly nice.

I loved the Dosai here, the best I have had since leaving the mother country! Friendly Staff and a homely ambiance, definitely reminded me of home.

We requested for a corner table as soon as we entered, when the restaurant was practically empty, and the manager (rudely) refused to give one saying it was reserved. We were there for more than an hour and no one turned up for those tables (at 9.15pm) We had children with us and hence requested for the corner one. Meals... More

We had a good to average experience all the times we ate here. Once we ordered a delivery which took a bit too long and the phone service didn't sound as friendly. Hopefully things have changed for the better. The quality of food is great and service is good. Their dosas and sambhar are better compared to what's available around... More

The owner is pathetically arrogant and rude. Doesn't smile at any Indian customers. He communicates only through eyes and not through his mouth. Staff are polite but the owner is pathetic. He will be serving most of the times and offers a very poor service. Dosas in this restaurant just don't take like Dosas. They more taste like elastic thick... More

We had not visited this restaurant for quite a while but I'm pleased to say that it was just as delightful as I remember i . On a cold Canberra night it was a cozy and inviting place to be. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and attentive. The chef can create dishes to satisfy all tastes, so... More
