As a special treat, 4 of us all had degustation menu on Friday night and each dish was spot on. Matching wines; Riesling, Chenin Blanc, Pinot noir and sticky were all outstanding, the only one I didn't really go for was the barbera but it's just not my style. Wait staff and wine detail was great and the whole team... More

Anniversary celebrations for two can be hard in December with restaurants mainly serving large group bookings. So it was when we arrived at Sage on a gorgeous summer's evening. After enjoying a drink in the Mint beer garden we went in search of our table. The restaurant thoughtfully put our table outside while inside was packed with large groups. The... More

Went to Sage for a birthday dinner and arrived early for drinks at the bar before dinner. This time of year there are a lot of events happening, but we were seated in a timely manner and the wait staff were attentive without being overbearing. The degustation was excellent with the salmon and duck dishes being particularly notable. The wine... More

We had the degustation omnivore menu. It felt like they had made a real effort to have elements run through the courses that tied them all together well. The duck was amazing and by far the best dish, we were not fussed with the carrot dish though.

Would never have known that this place even existed except for the fact that local friends took us there as their guests It seemed a little out of the way, if that makes sense, but certainly worth the visit Food was delightful and exquisitely presented. It's worth a try for the experience, but the final account was rather breathtaking for... More

Went here last night with friends who love the place and I see why. Great lil restaurant with a sensational menu which was the perfect amount for dinner. I love smaller serves of quality food with various tastes you can clearly distinguish while experiencing the dish. Service was friendly and timely and wine was lovely.

We had the 5 course degustation menu and each course surpassed the other. The staff were very patient and explained each course in details. I can't compliment the food enough and would really recommend everyone to give it a try at least once.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal at Sage last night. We had the degustation menu, with a total of 8 exquisite courses, and a wine pairing. Every course was superb, but the duck, Jerusalem artichoke, and dessert especially stood out. We were particularly impressed by the knowledge of Jackson, the sommelier, who put a lot of thought into... More

If the above definition is applied to food and the chef, then this establishment is very aptly named. The complex yet deft combinations of flavours and textures were quite honestly qualities to be savoured in every morsel of our respective five-course degustation Saturday lunch. (She: veg. degustation; He: non-veg. degustation). The atmosphere is very warm and relaxed and the service... More
