Went there with friends for lunch. Food was generally OK except for the Suckling Pig which was not cooked properly, and still had blood oozing from bones. The worst thing was that the waiter argued with the customer that it was OK!! $200 per head...More

Had visited Ivy's before but did not realise such a great restaurant was also hiding there. Staff were very good. Food and wine were excellent. The meal was unrushed and very enjoyable.

With a group of 10 so we were required to have a set menu. The food was lovely but I need to come back and have my choices. Nothing like food envy when another dish goes by your table. Service good food good bit pricey...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens

Set in beautiful poolside surroundings, Uccello is ivy's hidden rooftop gem. Featuring an authentic Italian menu with only the freshest produce, each dish allows the ingredients to speak for themselves. Head Chef Ben Sitton’s menu combines intricate flavours with influences from all over Italy. Think Piedmontese tartare with anchovies and witlof or goats curd tortelli with peas. Making the most of Uccello’s stone oven, Ben has also perfected wood-fired proteins such as octopus with chickpea puree, quail with pomegranate and Bangalow pork loin with Tuscan cavolo nero. The dolci menu is also not to be missed, try deep fried citrus custard or Zokoko dark chocolate mousse for a sweet end to a relaxed afternoon atop ivy. Uccello’s menu is also perfectly complemented by an outstanding wine list by Head Sommelier Tim Perlstone, featuring 450 Italian wines.
