We stopped in after a long day of shopping and had an excellent meal. My wife had fried Chinese noodles and I had the Malaysian beef stew. Both meals were excellent and ample portions.

We had lunch here, it was just OK. There's something about having lunch in a shopping centre, even the QVB, that just detracts from the experience. I had the seafood risotto and it was really good, great flavours and a generous amount of seafood for the price. Cracked pepper or parmesan would have been nice but none was offered. We... More

There is not much in the way of GF options in Sydney, but Cellini's, located on the top floor of the Queen Victoria building is the best I have found so far. Sandwiches, desserts, and more at reasonable prices for lunch, and comparable prices at dinner. Sandwiches are 9.80 AUS. Slight up charge for delicious GF Bread, but worth it.... More

Waited for a while once seated for staff member to bring over the menu's. Female staff member was hardly welcoming and decided to put reserved signs on every other table behind us (around the circular seating) as she couldn't be bothered walking around the upper circle for any other guests. Felt unwelcome and as if we had pissed this female... More

Had lunch here with friends last Saturday. Staff were efficient friendly and helpful. There is a large menu to choose from which is great for a group of people who have different tastes and appetites. I had a caesar salad which was fresh and a good size. The dessert display is mouth watering and between us we enjoyed tiramisu, lemon... More

Don't waste your money eating here. Don't know how to poach an egg and burn toast. Very expensive for what you get. Not Italian despite the name.

This is a nice quiet spot for a relaxed coffee in the morning. It's relatively crowd free and ok to catch up on e-mail etc...

Had a really great family lunch here today. So nice for our kids to get fresh bread sandwiches. Both my husband and myself also had sandwiches, fresh, tasty, focaccia was really lovely. Just a really nice lunch& no chips in site!! Perfect lunch stop.

Excellent service and delicious food! We were promptly greeted and invited to sit any place where we chose. Also enjoyed glass of Australian champagne. Spend a day shopping at the QVB and lunch at Cellini's!

On a very busy Christmas week evening we were lucky to score a table for 5. This is a popular place for people to eat before shows at The Town Hall or anytime. The service was great, the wait staff are efficient, friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and quite affordable. It all went to make a great first... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
