I am a sucker for pork belly when it is combined with something acidic and refreshing to counterbalance the crispiness and richness of good pork belly. The way this place serves pork belly is by presenting you with three huge plain slabs of pork belly with skin on and with a bit of mayo slathered on top. I don't know... More

My friend and I have just left this restaurant. I was seated at a two person table with my friend. We thought we would move to the table behind us. Well... the matte de offered another table at the back of the restaurant as he wanted to give another family our table. Yes, he gave us options but I would... More

Bit different this review, main point of visiting Darling harbour was the firework show, (apparently every Saturday night at 9pm) Well, read the menu, nothing exceptional but something we all would generally go for.. Seated in a great position for the fireworks, (all tables offer similar views.!) Ordered the Toros Seafood Paella, low expectations upon ordering but when it arrived... More

Great lunch shared by my wife and I. Excellent service and Food. The value for money is quite good, especially being on the harbour.

I went to Toro's after work as I was working in Sydney, the place itself is really nice and it was nice sitting on the harbour. The Tapas were delicious however it was a little disappointing that there were a few items that were not available. The main meals also looked delicious and the sangria was just amazing!

We went as a group of four with our scoopon offer. The food was amazing. I never expected to be unable to finish our 10 courses. Other deals I have taken up usually feed you the bare minimum Service was good. Only thing I would ask next time is to slow down how often they bring out each course so... More

I was waiting at Darling Harbour for our group to arrive from the Spanish quarter in the city and decided to sit down have a tapas and a drink. I had the Sangria (nothing special here) and a plate of their chorizo tapas. The serving was larger than expected which was good and the chorizos and potatoes were very delicious... More

Staying in Darling Harbour

Neighbourhood Profile
Darling Harbour
The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to Dj’s. Families can visit the Chinese Gardens of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Sydney Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
