Average yum cha food and poor service and yet charged an exorbitant 30% service charge which was listed on the tax invoice as "Kitchen"

This was our first time at this large and noisy yum cha in the heart of Sydney's Chinatown. The food was excellent with a wide choice and very frequent trolley service. We had steamed dumplings with prawns and snow peas, followed by BBQ pork buns...More

Always enjoyed Yum Cha and this restaurant is amazingly close to Hong Kong authenticity. Fabulous. Family get together and loved it. Everything from chicken's feet to dessert, with or without alcohol.

This place is my favourite yum Cha in the city but not of all time. The food is very nice and the people are always great. It does take a long time to get into though so be prepared to wait.

Chaotic and average, very run of the mill food, service a bit warm like the food, no dish was exceptional, much hype, little substance to it, disappointed.

How do you charge per dish for yum cha on Sunday? I ate at one table by myself and only ordered one dish - a fried prawn dumpling. Was charged $10.30 for it. I am really shocked. Alex

That's probably about right. We ate there today. Had 7 dishes plus tea and it was just over $70. Quality food though. I would say this is on par with Mr Wong and there you can pay up to $18 for a steam basket of 4 dumplings.
