Stumbled across Bay88 while out walking. Great coffee and was thrilled to see they had Bonsoy. Lashed out and ordered a slice of banana and walnut bread; it was flavoursome and moist. Staff were engaging and friendly.

The service can be hostile, depending on who serves you - there is one really nice Portuguese girl, but the rest are very abrupt. The food is fine if you are after no frills fuel

Great breakfast - the sausage in a bun was my favourite. Nice place to watch the world go by in the early morning with the ebb and flow of joggers and fitness fanatics head to and from Rushcutters Bay!
