An awesome experience. Waiting in the queue for 30 min to get in to this century old building. Great rane of wine and delicious food. dumplings were fantastic and spicy chicken Plus their own style of fried rice. Friendly service and great ambience. Little bit congested and no privacy. A repeat visit is a must.

We read a lot of positive reviews. I called to get a reservation, they would only take them for parties of 6. They told us it would be busy, and they opened at 5:30 for dinner. We got there at 5:15, and there was a line of about 30 people ahead of us. We got seated at about 5:45. As... More

Was lucky enough to walk in at 6pm and get a table straight away but had to be out by 8pm, no problem. Had the dumplings, duck soup and the cubed Angus beef, bloody beautiful, was a bit worried the beef may be tough as they were generous cubes, they were melt in your mouth tender, will definitely come here... I had high expectations coming in and I was still overwhelmed by how good it was! The food was absolutely magnificent, highly recommend the mud crab with chilli. Staff were extremely knowledgable and we allowed Ayman who served us to pick our menu for us, he excelled! Our fat carcasses waddled out extremely fulfilled and happy.

Chinese kitchen combined with a fantasic wine cellar, knowledgable and friendly people in combination with brilliantly organized service. You need to be flexible and patient, but it is a fantastic experience!!!

We went for Sunday lunch. Staff was friendly , our server was very friendly . She accommodated us in changing tables - as a/c was blowing a gust above us. She answered any questions about menu and food and was helpful in suggesting dishes and avoiding others. Nice atmosphere , kind of old style warehouse meets modern Asian. Restaurant was... More

We had read many very good reviews of Mr Wong. We were eager to try their food ourselves. The restaurant can be a bit hard to find being in a small ally with limited signage. The decoration is great and the restaurant vibe is really good. The food though was not as good as we were expecting. And for the... More

Consistently great, don't let the concept of a line put you off. Prepare to dine early, get there shortly before 5.30 and you will be promptly seated shortly after. An early dinner, but better than not getting the experience of eating here.

My boyfriend treated me to dinner at Mr Wongs for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. When we arrived we put our names down with the friendly front of house staff and were told to come back in about an hour, we didn't mind this as it was still relatively early for dinner and we could go and have... Seriously delicious Chinese food. We had one of the banquets and it was just fantastic. The best Chinese food I've eaten for along long time. I loved the venue and the darkish décor and atmosphere. This restaurant sprawls over 2 levels, but when you are seated it doesn't seem so big, in the way they have set out the dining... More
